1. General.
Legal-DNA B.V. is a Dutch legal entity that provides legal services. We are registered at the Chamber of commerce under registration number 61069337 and care deeply about your privacy.
This privacy statement is will provide you with information regarding the personal data we collect and their use in case you use our website and/or make use of our services. This privacy statement will inform you which personal data we collect, for what purpose, how we protect it and what your rights are related to your personal data. We may change our privacy statement from time to time and will inform you thereof.
Please note that this privacy statement does not apply to third party sites we refer or link to on our website or as part of our service to you. These third party websites are not controlled by us and are subject to a third party privacy Notice & terms and conditions.
2. Personal data collected and purpose of use.
a) When visiting our website.
Legal-DNA has a firm commitment to internet privacy. You can visit our website without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information. We do not make use of cookies or use any other tracking technology.
b) When submitting a form via our website or send us an e-mail.
In case you send us an e-mail and/or submit a form via our website, this is sent as an e-mail to our server hosted and managed by a third party service provider. We collect your e-mail address and other personal information you choose to send to us. We will keep this e-mails until two years after receipt of the e-mails.
c) When making use of our legal services.
When you are a client, we are legally required to collect and process information for record keeping purposes (name, address, Chamber of Commerce number and VAT number). We will keep this information for the term of 10 years.
For purpose of performing under an agreement with you/provisioning of services to you, we collect your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and other personal information you provide to us with in the context of our provisioning of services to you. We will keep this information until 2 years after the end of the agreement.
3. Sharing of personal data.
We do not provide your personal data to third parties, unless you ask us to, or when we are required by law or administrative order, or when explicitly stated otherwise in this privacy statement.
We make use of a Dutch third party service provider to house and manage a server located in the Netherlands on which our website, e-mail and other content management applications are running. Furthermore we make use of a Dutch accountancy firm that processes our financial records, including the invoices we have send to you and which may contain your personal information. We have concluded a processor agreement with these data processors to ensure your privacy and to comply with applicable privacy legislation.
4. Personal data protection.
We have taken suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data for unauthorized use, access and processing and have imposed the same obligations to our third party service providers/data processors via a processor agreement.
5. Your rights
Under the applicable General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to inspect, update, correct or remove your personal data we have collected from you. You can also request us to stop processing your personal data and/or withdraw your consent for processing your personal data. Please note that certain legislation obliges us to maintain a copy of your information (in case we will) and that the removal of certain information might make the provisioning of services to you impossible (in which case we reserve the right to end our services to you).
